I've decided to combine my personal blog with this blog to create one giant SUPER BLOG!! Which means I will no longer be posting here. Head on over and check it out! I'm still tweaking things but that's okay.

I wanted this to be my business motto but then I thought maybe I should use it as a personal creed, that I have to work on, A LOT.
In this first installment I'd like to introduce you to Rebecca of Rebecca Ames Photography. She is an extremely talented photographer who lets me shadow her on her shoots. Okay, I follow her around like a puppy dog, I admit it.
She was very daring going in the slippery pond and after she came out of the water, boy howdy! That was one stinky pond. But the picture didn't stink, that's the only thing that matters.

It's always a scary thing when you take a chance and chase your dream, your passion. Every step I've taken down this creative road has been one of trepidation and fear. Fear of failure, fear of success, fear of being the norm, fear of breaking out of the box. What if I can't cut it? What if I'll always be known as a wanna be? It's a tough, scary thing.
Meet Danielle. She is a mother, a teacher, a musician, a singer, and a fellow dream chaser. Danielle is a magnificent vocalist. I've had the pleasure of hearing her sing in church but on our way to her location she said that she sings Jazz as well as Classical. I love Jazz: Diana Krall, Billy Holiday, Michael Buble, Renee Olestead, Lena Horne, I could go on and on. I had to get her to sing for me. I don't know how I convinced her, I'm not that convincing of a person. But she, in the middle of an allyway, and with a lone man sitting in a lawn chair, serenaded the evening with "Summertime". One of my all time favorites. She didn't disappoint.
Make sure to visit her sight and learn about all the things she's doing to chase down her dream.
Now, without further ado. . .

I was fortunate enough to be able to shoot with Becca at a lovely wedding in Golden. She has been so kind and giving towards me and I am extremely grateful for her.
